Lala Is Sad and Hurt Because She Thinks Mom Doesn’t Love Her Anymore!

Little monkey Lala sat quietly by the window, her tail curled around her knees. Usually, mornings were filled with laughter and hugs from her mom, but lately, things had changed. Mom had been so busy—cleaning, cooking, and caring for baby Lulu—that she barely had time to play with Lala. Every time Lala tried to talk, Mom would say, “Not now, sweetheart, I’m busy.” Those words felt heavier each day.

That morning, Lala brought a flower she had picked just for Mom. She waited patiently for her to notice, but Mom was rushing to feed baby Lulu. When the flower fell from Lala’s hand and no one noticed, her little heart sank. “Maybe Mom doesn’t love me anymore,” she whispered, tears welling in her eyes.

She wandered outside and sat beneath her favorite tree, watching families play together. The wind brushed against her fur, but it couldn’t warm the sadness in her heart. She thought about all the times Mom used to tickle her, sing bedtime songs, and tell her stories before sleep. Now, it all felt like a distant memory.

Hours passed before Mom realized Lala was gone. Panic filled her eyes as she searched everywhere until she spotted that tiny pink ribbon under the tree. “Lala!” she called, running toward her. Lala looked up with teary eyes. “You don’t love me anymore,” she said softly.

Mom’s heart broke. She knelt down, pulled Lala into a warm embrace, and whispered, “Oh, my sweet girl, I love you more than anything. I’m sorry I made you feel forgotten. I’ve just been so busy—but you’re always in my heart.”

Lala sniffled, burying her face in Mom’s arms. “Promise you won’t forget me again?” she asked. Mom smiled through her tears. “Never.”

That evening, they shared a special dinner and sang lullabies together again. Lala learned that love sometimes gets quiet—but it never disappears.
