Later that evening, Lyly’s mother noticed her ribbon was missing and asked where she had gone. Shyly, Lyly confessed everything. “I just wanted to make Grandma happy,” she said, lowering her head. Her mother’s eyes softened with pride. She lifted Lyly into her arms and whispered, “My sweet girl, that was the kindest thing you could do.”
The next morning, Grandma Momo visited them, holding a flower crown she had made for Lyly as a thank-you gift. Lyly’s eyes sparkled as her mother placed it on her head.
