It was supposed to be a simple morning. Luk had one mission—give Monkey Cubis a quick bath before breakfast. But when it came to Cubis, nothing was ever simple!
The moment Luk said the word “bath,” Cubis froze, eyes wide like a guilty child caught red-handed. Then, with lightning speed, he dashed under the table. “Cubis! Come back here!” Luk shouted, holding a towel in one hand and a bottle of shampoo in the other. But Cubis was already planning his great escape.
First, he climbed the curtains, hanging upside down like a little acrobat. Luk tried to catch him, but Cubis leapt onto the sofa, leaving tiny muddy pawprints all over it. “You’re making it worse!” Luk groaned, half-laughing and half-despairing. Cubis giggled mischievously, knowing he was winning the game.
Finally cornered, Cubis made one last daring move—he dove straight into the laundry basket, hiding beneath a pile of clothes. Luk sighed, “Nine lives, nine troubles… one Cubis!” After a few minutes of negotiation involving a banana bribe, Cubis finally agreed to take his bath.
But peace didn’t last long. The moment the first splash of water touched him, Cubis squealed dramatically, flailing like a tiny tornado. Luk was soaked from head to toe. The bathroom became a jungle battlefield—water everywhere, bubbles flying, and Cubis slipping around as if he were in a comedy show.
When it was finally over, Cubis stood wrapped in a fluffy towel, fur puffed up like a cotton ball. He gave Luk a cheeky grin as if to say, “See? That wasn’t so bad!” Luk couldn’t help but laugh. “You, my little troublemaker, make every day an adventure.”
As Cubis cuddled close, smelling fresh and sweet, Luk realized that even the craziest moments with him were the most precious. Bath time may have been chaos—but with Cubis, chaos was pure joy.
