Denver’s fourth puppy (Chihuahua Pug Mix Giving Birth)

The night was quiet, but inside the small home, excitement filled the air. Denver, the tiny Chihuahua–Pug mix with round brown eyes, was about to bring new life into the world once again. She had already given birth to three healthy little ones earlier that day, each one greeted with soft blankets, gentle hands, and plenty of kisses from her loving family. But Denver wasn’t finished yet—her fourth puppy was on the way.

The family gathered close, speaking in calm voices so as not to startle her. Denver’s small body trembled as she pushed, her breathing steady but strained. Her human mom knelt by her side, whispering words of encouragement, “You’re doing so well, sweetheart. Just one more, you can do it.” Denver’s tail gave a faint wag as if she understood.

Minutes felt like hours, but finally, a tiny cry broke the silence. The fourth puppy, smaller than the others but full of life, had arrived. Denver immediately went to work, instinctively cleaning her newborn with gentle licks, making sure the little one was warm and breathing well. The family’s hearts melted as the puppy wriggled closer to its mother, searching for comfort.

Now, Denver lay proudly with all four of her babies tucked against her belly. The first three, already stronger, nuzzled for milk while the newest addition tried to find its place among them. Denver’s eyes softened with relief and pride. Though tired, she looked like the happiest dog in the world.

Her human dad carefully counted each tiny puppy, checking that they were safe, then placed a fresh blanket beneath them. “Four little miracles,” he said, smiling. The children giggled, already choosing names for the newborns.

In that small corner of the house, surrounded by love, Denver and her four puppies became the center of joy. Her fourth puppy may have been the last, but it made the family feel complete.
