One sunny morning in the jungle, little Monkey Lyly woke up with the biggest smile on her face. She stretched her arms, yawned, and looked around as if she had just returned from a magical land. Her mother noticed her glowing expression and asked, “Good morning, Lyly! You look so happy. What did you dream about, my dear?”
Lyly giggled, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Oh, Mama! It was the most beautiful dream ever!”
Her mother leaned closer, curious. “Tell me all about it.”
Lyly began with a whisper, as if revealing a great secret. “I dreamed I found a hidden banana island in the sky! The trees there were golden, and the bananas sparkled like stars. I met a flying toucan who gave me a magical leaf. When I held it, I could fly too!”
“Fly?” her mother laughed softly. “You must’ve been so brave.”
“Oh yes! I flew over rivers and waterfalls. I even waved at the sun! Then I landed on a cloud made of cotton candy and danced with other baby animals from all over the world—tigers, elephants, even a baby panda wearing sunglasses!”
Lyly paused and placed her tiny hands on her cheeks. “Then, Mama, guess what? A big rainbow slide appeared! We all slid down it, laughing the whole way, and it took us to a jungle where every tree told stories. I sat under one and it told me a story about a little monkey who would grow up to be queen of the forest!”
Her mother smiled warmly and hugged her. “What a beautiful dream, my sweet Lyly. Maybe dreams like that come to those with the kindest hearts.”
Lyly snuggled into her mother’s arms and whispered, “Maybe one day I’ll find that island for real.”
Her mother kissed her forehead. “With dreams like yours, anything is possible.”
