Title: Quick-witted Monkey Lyly Asked Her Mother to Mend Her Torn Dress and Then…

Monkey Lyly was having the time of her life, running around the backyard, climbing trees, and swinging from branches like a little whirlwind. She was so caught up in the fun that she didn’t notice her favorite pink dress catching on a sharp twig. Rip! A loud tearing sound made her freeze. She looked down and gasped — her beautiful dress had a long, ugly tear right across the front!

At first, panic flashed across her face. Lyly loved that dress. It wasn’t just any dress — it was a gift from her mother, and she wore it whenever she wanted to feel extra special. Without wasting a second, quick-witted Lyly ran into the house, clutching the torn fabric in her tiny hands.

“Mom! Emergency!” she cried dramatically, waving the dress like a flag. Her mother turned around, slightly startled, but quickly understood. She knelt down and took the dress gently from Lyly’s hands. “Oh no, my little Lyly! What happened?” she asked.

“I was too fast,” Lyly said proudly, trying to turn the accident into an achievement.

Her mother chuckled and grabbed her sewing kit. As she prepared the needle and thread, Lyly stayed right by her side, watching every move carefully. She even insisted on choosing the color of the thread — bright yellow — because, in her words, “It will make the dress even faster-looking!”

While her mother stitched, Lyly had a brilliant idea. “Mom, can we put a star on it too?” she asked eagerly. Her mother smiled and agreed. After repairing the tear, she sewed a small, sparkling star patch over the fixed spot.

When the dress was ready, Lyly couldn’t stop beaming. She put it on immediately, twirled around the living room, and declared, “Now I’m super fast and super shiny!

Later that day, Lyly insisted on showing off her “new” dress to the neighbors, proudly telling everyone, “My mom and I made this together!”

What started with a tear became a beautiful memory — and a dress even more special than before.
