It was a sunny morning at the sanctuary, and Cubis was in his usual playful mood. He had just finished helping his best friend, Luk, find a bunch of ripe bananas hidden behind the big mango tree. Luk had been looking everywhere, scratching his head and making his cute little “hmm hmm” sounds. Cubis, ever the clever monkey, climbed up high, spotted the golden bunch, and proudly brought them down. Luk’s eyes widened with joy — his favorite treat!
As they sat side by side sharing the sweet fruit, Luk suddenly looked at Cubis with deep affection.
