It was a bright and cheerful afternoon at home, and Diem was in an energetic mood. She had just finished a tasty lunch with her family when she noticed something funny. Monkey Kaka, her mischievous little friend, had somehow managed to get food smudged all over her furry face. Bits of fruit and crumbs were stuck around her cheeks, making her look like she’d just had a messy feast.

Diem giggled at the sight of Kaka’s messy face. “Oh, Kaka! You’re so dirty!” she exclaimed, grabbing a soft, damp cloth from the table. “Come here, Kaka. Let me clean you up!” she called out with a big smile.

But Kaka wasn’t having it. As soon as she saw Diem approaching with the cloth, her playful instincts kicked in. She dashed away, running around the room and making cheerful little screeches. It was like a game of tag that Kaka thought was the most exciting thing ever.

“Come on, Kaka! Just sit still for a minute!” Diem pleaded, her laughter making it hard to sound serious. She chased Kaka around the chairs, under the table, and even behind the curtains. But Kaka was quick and determined to avoid the mysterious wet cloth.

Finally, after several playful rounds, Diem managed to corner Kaka by the couch. She gently placed her hand on Kaka’s shoulder and said, “Please, Kaka. I just want to help you. If you stay still, I promise it will be over fast.”

Kaka looked up at Diem’s sweet, pleading eyes and seemed to understand. She let out a little huff, then plopped herself down and stayed still, her curious eyes watching Diem’s every move.

Diem carefully wiped Kaka’s face, softly humming a tune as she worked. When she was done, Kaka’s face was clean and bright again.

“There! All done!” Diem cheered, giving Kaka a gentle pat. Kaka squeaked happily, grateful for Diem’s loving care, even if it meant a little bit of trouble.
