Monkey Lyly had grown quite attached to the tiny kittens that had been staying in her home. From the very first day they arrived, fragile and meowing for comfort, she had watched over them with curious eyes. Lyly’s eyes widened, and though she couldn’t speak, her excited squeaks seemed to say, “They’re happy!”
Slowly, she realized the truth: the kittens hadn’t disappeared—they had found loving families of their own. And while she might miss them, knowing they were safe and cherished filled her with a quiet joy.
From then on, Lyly carried herself a little differently, as though proud to have been part of their journey. She had watched them grow, and now they were thriving, loved beyond measure.
