Cubis the little monkey usually adores spending every moment with Dad. Whether it’s playtime, snack time, or just lounging together, he’s happiest when Dad is nearby. But today, things took a funny turn, and Cubis ended up sulking in the corner—angry at Dad for one very specific reason!
It all started when Cubis spotted his favorite treat sitting on the table. His eyes lit up, and he bounced excitedly, reaching out his little hands as if to say, “Come on, Dad, give it to me!” But instead of handing it over right away, Dad decided to tease him just a little. He held the treat up high, just out of reach, chuckling as Cubis tried jumping and stretching with all his might.
At first, Cubis thought it was a game. He squeaked, spun in circles, and even clapped his hands, hoping Dad would give in. But when Dad continued to hold back, Cubis’s playful squeaks turned into little grumbles. His face scrunched up, his tail flicked, and before long, he crossed his arms and turned his back dramatically—his way of saying, “That’s it. I’m mad at you!”
Dad couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of Cubis pouting like a child. The little monkey peeked over his shoulder a few times, making sure Dad noticed his sulk, but he refused to break character. Finally, Dad relented, placing the treat in Cubis’s hands. In an instant, the anger melted away. Cubis squealed with delight, gobbled down his snack, and leapt back into Dad’s arms, smothering him with affection as if nothing had happened.
It was just a silly moment, but it showed how expressive and full of personality Cubis really is. He might get angry for a reason as small as waiting too long for a snack, but at the end of the day, his love for Dad always wins.
Because with Cubis, even anger is just another way of saying, “You mean the world to me, Dad.”
