Foster Kitten Michael Is Not Happy to See the Vet at His First Check-Up. Subtitles!

Today was a big day for little Michael—his very first vet check-up. As a sick foster kitten, he’s been through a lot already: a rough start, a warm bath, and bottle feedings around the clock. But nothing quite prepared him for this moment.

“Michael’s going to the vet today!”
“Let’s just say… he’s not excited.”

The second we placed him in the carrier, his expression said it all. Wide eyes. Tiny, dramatic meows. And that classic look of betrayal that only a kitten can give.

“Where are we going? Why is the world shaking?”
“This is NOT what I signed up for.”

Once we arrived at the vet’s office, the protests got louder. Michael huddled in the back of the carrier, his little nose twitching with every unfamiliar smell. But despite his dramatic display, he was still as adorable as ever.

“Excuse me… I’d like to go home now.”
“Immediately.”

When it was time for his exam, the vet was gentle and patient. She checked his temperature, listened to his breathing, and examined his eyes and ears. Michael squirmed. He meowed. He glared. But he let her do her job—mostly.

“I do not approve of this!”
“Is this payback for peeing on the towel?”

The good news? Michael is underweight but stable. His infection is clearing up with meds, and his lungs sound better than expected. He still has a long way to go, but the vet was pleased with his progress.

“Okay, fine… maybe she’s not the worst.”
“Still watching you though.”

After the exam, we rewarded him with a cozy blanket and a warm bottle back at home. And just like that, all was forgiven.

“Back to cuddles. Let’s never talk about the vet again.”
“Deal?”

Michael might be dramatic, but he’s also a little fighter. One vet visit down, many more adventures to come!
