After the heavy rain finally stopped, the farm looked completely different from the day before. Puddles covered the muddy paths, broken branches lay scattered across the yard, and leaves were stuck to the windows and doors. Lala stood quietly beside her mom, staring at the mess with wide eyes. Mom smiled warmly and handed Lala a small broom. They began their work early in the morning while the cool breeze still carried the fresh scent of rain.
