Monkey Lyly Obediently Stays Home While Her Mother Goes to the Hospital and Her Heartwarming Action

Early one morning, Monkey Lyly woke to a worried whisper and hurried footsteps. Her mother was preparing to go to the hospital for a medical checkup. Though she tried to smile, Lyly could see the concern in her eyes. Instinctively, Lyly wanted to follow her, but her mother gently knelt down and held her hands.

“Lyly, be a good girl and stay home. I’ll be back soon,” her mother said softly. Lyly nodded, even though her heart felt heavy. She didn’t want to be alone, but she understood that her mother needed to go. With a brave little smile, she waved goodbye and stood by the door until her mother disappeared down the path.

The house felt unusually quiet. Lyly sat for a moment, hugging her knees, missing her mom already. Then she took a deep breath and decided she would do something special to surprise her. First, she carefully cleaned up her toys, placing each one neatly back in its place. Next, she swept the floor, wiped the table, and even tried to fold a small blanket, though it took her several attempts to get it right.

After that, Lyly went to the kitchen and prepared a simple snack using fruit and biscuits. She arranged everything nicely on a plate and placed it on the table. Wanting to add something extra, she picked a few fresh flowers from the garden and put them in a small cup of water. The bright colors made the room feel warmer and more cheerful.

When her mother finally returned home, tired but relieved, she was greeted by the clean house, the neatly set table, and Lyly waiting proudly by the door. “Welcome home, Mom,” Lyly said softly, offering the plate of snacks and the flowers. Her mother’s eyes filled with tears as she knelt down and hugged her tightly.

“You stayed home so well and did all this for me?” she asked. Lyly nodded shyly. “I wanted you to feel happy when you came back.”

In that moment, her mother felt all her worries melt away. Lyly’s small but thoughtful actions turned an anxious day into a beautiful memory. The gentle care of a loving child reminded her that even the simplest acts, done with love, can bring the greatest comfort.
