Monkey Lyly woke up that morning feeling cheerful, ready to play in her little wooden house that stood beside the big tree. It was her favorite place, filled with soft leaves, tiny toys, and sweet memories. But when she stepped outside, her heart suddenly sank. Her house was gone. In its place were only scattered wooden boards and ropes. For a moment, Lyly just stood there in silence, trying to understand what had happened.
Soon, she saw her mother nearby, busy organizing the pieces. Lyly’s eyes filled with tears as she realized that Mom had taken down her precious house. Confused and hurt, she slowly walked over and tugged at her mother’s hand. With a trembling voice, she asked why her home had disappeared. Her mother gently knelt down and explained that the old house had become unsafe. The wood was weak, and the ropes were worn. She worried that it might collapse and hurt Lyly, so she decided it was time to take it down and build a new, stronger one.
Even though Lyly understood the reason, her heart still felt heavy. That little house held so many happy moments—quiet naps, playful games, and cozy afternoons. Letting go was not easy. She sat quietly, hugging her knees, watching as the familiar pieces were carried away. Her disappointment was deep, and for a while, she refused to play or eat.
Noticing her sadness, her mother sat beside her and wrapped her in a warm embrace. She promised that the new house would be even better, safer, and more beautiful than before. Together, they began planning the new design, choosing colors and imagining fun details. Slowly, Lyly’s mood started to lift as she pictured her future home.
Over the next few days, they worked side by side, building and decorating. Lyly helped paint and arrange tiny decorations, feeling proud of her contribution. When the new house was finally finished, her eyes sparkled with joy. It was bright, sturdy, and filled with love.
Though she had felt disappointed at first, Lyly learned that sometimes, change is necessary for growth and safety. Her new house became a symbol of trust, care, and new beginnings, reminding her that her mother always acts out of love.
