Lyly, Are You Okay? Monkey Lyly Designed Her Own Bed, Startling Mom When She Saw It

One bright morning, Monkey Lyly woke up feeling extra creative. While her mom was busy preparing breakfast, Lyly quietly tiptoed around the house, collecting soft leaves, small pillows, and colorful ribbons she had saved from old gifts. An exciting idea had popped into her head — she wanted to design her very own bed. She imagined a cozy place where she could rest, dream, and read her favorite picture books.

Lyly worked carefully, arranging the leaves into a soft mattress and stacking pillows to make a tiny headboard. She tied the ribbons into neat bows and draped them across the sides. To finish, she added her favorite stuffed toy in the center, smiling proudly at her creation. It wasn’t perfect, but it was full of heart and imagination.

When Mom finally walked into Lyly’s room, she froze in surprise. The floor was covered with pillows, leaves, and ribbons, and in the middle sat a strange-looking bed. For a moment, Mom gasped and called out, “Lyly, are you okay?” Her heart skipped, worried that Lyly might have hurt herself while moving everything around.

Lyly peeked out from behind the door, her eyes sparkling. “Mom, look! I made my own bed!” she said excitedly, bouncing with pride. Seeing her daughter safe and smiling, Mom quickly relaxed. She stepped closer, gently touching the handmade bed, amazed by Lyly’s creativity and effort.

Although the room was a little messy, Mom couldn’t help but smile. She hugged Lyly tightly and praised her for being so imaginative and brave. Together, they tested the new bed, laughing when it wobbled and adjusting the pillows until it felt just right.

By the end of the morning, Lyly’s special bed had become their favorite spot to cuddle and share stories. What began as a startling surprise turned into a heartwarming moment, reminding Mom that Lyly’s big imagination often leads to beautiful and unexpected creations.
