It was a bright, cheerful morning when little monkey Lala woke up with a sparkle in her eyes. The guava trees at the family’s small farm were heavy with ripe, sweet fruit, and Lala had an idea that made her tail wiggle with excitement. “I’ll pick guavas and share them with our neighbors!” she chirped happily, clapping her tiny hands.
After breakfast, Dad handed her a small basket and said with a smile, “Be careful, Lala! Only pick the ripe ones—the ones that smell the sweetest.” Lala nodded seriously, determined to do her job well. She hopped onto the back of the motorbike, holding the basket tight as they rode to the guava farm.
The moment they arrived, Lala dashed toward the trees, sniffing the air filled with the fruity aroma. She reached for the low branches first, gently twisting the green-yellow guavas until they came loose. Whenever she found a perfect one, she proudly placed it in her basket and clapped. But of course, being Lala, there were a few funny moments too—she accidentally dropped one on her head, and another time, she tried to climb too high and got her tail tangled in the branches! Dad laughed while helping her down.
By noon, her basket was full of fresh guavas, shiny and fragrant. Lala sat proudly on the ground, admiring her hard work. But she didn’t keep them for herself. Back in the village, she went door to door with her little basket, offering guavas to everyone. “Here! From my farm!” she said cheerfully.
The neighbors couldn’t stop smiling. They patted her head, thanked her warmly, and told her she was the sweetest little monkey they’d ever met. Lala’s heart swelled with happiness. When she returned home, tired but proud, Dad hugged her and said, “You didn’t just share fruit, Lala—you shared kindness.”
That evening, Lala munched on one last guava, watching the sunset with a smile. It had been a day full of laughter, generosity, and love—a perfect day on the farm. 🍃🐒💚
