Lala is worried about ruining Mom’s study materials!

Little monkey Lala adored spending time near her mother. Every evening, Mom spread her study materials across the table—colorful papers, highlighted notes, and a laptop full of important research. Lala liked to sit beside her, watching the way Mom concentrated so hard. But because Lala was naturally curious and energetic, she sometimes couldn’t resist touching things she shouldn’t.

One afternoon, while Mom was preparing a snack in the kitchen, Lala wandered over to the study table. Mom’s notebooks were right there, full of bright pictures and interesting shapes. Lala reached out a tiny hand and flipped through a page. The crinkling sound made her giggle. She found a marker nearby and thought, Maybe I can help Mom study!

Before she knew it, Lala had drawn a big, wiggly banana right across Mom’s important notes. The moment she realized what she had done, her smile faded. Her heart thumped fast. Oh no… I ruined it! Mom needs these! Lala’s tail curled anxiously, and she hurriedly tried to wipe the marker, but that only smudged the ink further.

When Mom returned, she saw Lala standing there, head down, worried eyes trembling with guilt. The messy page lay open behind her.

Mom gently put a hand on Lala’s shoulder. “What’s wrong, sweetheart?”

“Lala… ruined Mom’s study…” she whispered, voice cracking.

Mom looked at the page and understood instantly. Instead of scolding, she knelt down and hugged Lala softly. “Thank you for trying to help. I know you didn’t mean to cause trouble.” Lala sniffled as Mom wiped her tears away.

Together, they carefully replaced the page and printed a new copy. Mom showed Lala how to organize the notes and even gave her a special blank notebook where she could draw all the bananas she wanted—without worrying about ruining anything important.

That night, Lala sat happily beside Mom again, drawing while Mom studied. Though she learned a big lesson, she also felt even more loved. Because mistakes happen—but what matters most is love, patience, and growing together.
