Lala loved coming home from school every day, mostly because she knew Mom would always have something yummy waiting. But today felt different. Lala’s eyes sparkled like stars. “Cassava cake?! My favorite!” She grabbed a slice, but Mom quickly reminded her to blow on it first. After a careful puff of air, Lala took a big bite. Her cheeks lifted instantly into a huge smile. It was soft and chewy, with the perfect blend of sweetness and creamy coconut. She closed her eyes and let out a joyful “Mmmm!”
Mom sat beside her, watching happily as Lala enjoyed every bite. “I wanted to give you a little treat for doing so well on your school project,” she explained.

Mom laughed gently and hugged her daughter. “As long as it makes you happy, that’s all that matters.”
