When little monkey Cubis arrived at his new home, his big brown eyes grew wider than ever before. The car door opened, and the first thing he saw was a bright green garden filled with flowers, tall trees, and a soft hammock swaying in the breeze. He blinked in disbelief, clutching his tiny backpack tightly. “Is this… all for me?” he whispered with wonder.
The caretaker smiled and nodded. “Yes, Cubis! This is your new home now.”
Cubis hesitated for a moment, unsure if he should trust what he was seeing. He had lived in a small cage before—cold, lonely, and without color. But here, everything looked magical. Birds were singing, sunlight sparkled on the leaves, and he could even hear the gentle trickle of water from a nearby fountain.
Slowly, Cubis took his first steps inside. He sniffed the air, touched the soft grass beneath his feet, and let out a tiny laugh. Then, in a burst of excitement, he ran from corner to corner—climbing up the tree, swinging from a branch, and jumping down onto the porch. “Woo-hoo! It’s amazing!” he shouted with pure joy.
Inside the house, he discovered even more surprises—a cozy bed made just for him, colorful toys, and a basket full of fruit. He carefully picked up a banana and smiled so big that his cheeks puffed out. “This must be what happiness feels like,” he thought.
When his new mom came over, Cubis leaped into her arms and hugged her tightly. “Thank you for bringing me here!” he squeaked, his little tail swishing excitedly. She patted his head gently and said, “Welcome home, Cubis. You’ll never be alone again.”
That evening, as the sun set, Cubis sat by the window, watching the golden light fade across his new world. His heart was warm and peaceful. From fear and uncertainty, he had found comfort and love. His new home wasn’t just a place—it was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in Cubis’ life.
