Lala is scared to sleep alone so she takes the blanket and pillow to sleep with Dad!

The night was quiet, the kind of silence that usually helps everyone rest. But little Lala tossed and turned in her bed, clutching her blanket tightly. Shadows on the wall looked bigger than they were, and every creak of the house made her ears twitch. The thought of being alone in her room filled her with unease.

Finally, after struggling for what felt like hours, Lala made up her mind. She gathered her blanket, tucked her favorite pillow under her arm, and tiptoed down the hall. Her tiny footsteps echoed softly as she headed toward Dad’s room.

When she peeked inside, Dad was already asleep, snoring gently. Lala hesitated for just a moment, worried about waking him. But the comfort of his presence was too strong to resist. She padded over to the bed and whispered, “Dad… can I stay here?” There was no answer, but Dad shifted slightly, leaving just enough space beside him.

Taking it as a yes, Lala carefully climbed onto the bed, spreading her blanket and placing her pillow right next to his. She nestled in close, her fear fading instantly as the warmth of Dad’s presence wrapped around her like an invisible shield.

Dad stirred, opened one sleepy eye, and smiled softly. “Scared, huh?” he mumbled, pulling the blanket a little higher over her. Lala nodded, eyes already growing heavy with relief. “It’s okay, sweetheart. You’re safe here,” he whispered before drifting back to sleep.

Within minutes, Lala’s breathing slowed, her small hand resting gently on Dad’s arm. The shadows on the wall no longer seemed scary, and the creaks of the house faded into the background. What mattered most was that she wasn’t alone.

That night, she slept peacefully, knowing that sometimes bravery isn’t about facing the dark alone—it’s about finding comfort in the ones you love.
