Cubis is known for being a little ball of mischief, and today was no different. While Dad was busy tidying up around the house, Cubis had his own plan brewing. He had watched Dad prepare the soap and water earlier, and something about those bubbles caught his curious little eyes. Instead of waiting patiently for bath time, Cubis decided to sneak away and make it his own secret adventure.
As soon as Dad turned his back, Cubis tiptoed—well, as much as a monkey can—toward the bathroom. He pushed the door closed behind him with a quiet click and climbed right into the basin. With a mischievous grin, he dipped his tiny hands into the soapy water and started splashing. Within minutes, bubbles floated everywhere. Cubis rubbed the soap onto his arms, chest, and even his face, giggling at the frothy mess he was creating.
By the time Dad noticed how quiet the house had become, it was already too late. Silence and Cubis never mixed well. Dad went searching and, sure enough, he heard little squeals of laughter coming from the bathroom. Opening the door, he found his naughty monkey completely covered in suds, looking both guilty and proud at the same time.
“Cubis!” Dad exclaimed, half frustrated and half amused. “You couldn’t wait, could you?”
Cubis froze for a second, big eyes wide with mock innocence, before scooping up a handful of bubbles and tossing them into the air. The sight was so funny that Dad couldn’t hold back his laughter. Even though Cubis had made a huge soapy mess on the floor, the room was filled with joy and playful energy.
In the end, Dad helped rinse off all the extra bubbles and wrapped Cubis in a warm towel. Naughty or not, his cheeky little monkey always knew how to turn ordinary moments into memories worth keeping.
