Monkey Lyly reacts excitedly when her mother brings the swimming pool to the rooftop.

The sun was blazing, the kind of hot day that makes even the walls feel warm to the touch. Monkey Lyly was sprawled out on the rooftop, fanning herself dramatically with a leaf, clearly suffering from the summer heat. Just when she thought the day couldn’t get any hotter, her mother appeared carrying something big and blue. Lyly’s eyes widened. It was the inflatable swimming pool!

Her tail started twitching with excitement as she leapt up and down, squealing in delight. She ran in circles around her mother, almost tripping over her own feet in her hurry to see it set up. “A pool! A pool! On the rooftop!” she chattered, unable to contain her joy.

As the pool filled with water, Lyly leaned over the edge, dipping her fingers in and flicking little droplets everywhere. She splashed her mother playfully, then darted back with a mischievous grin. When the pool was finally ready, she didn’t hesitate for a second. With a dramatic jump, she plunged in, sending water flying over the edges.

Her laughter echoed across the rooftops as she paddled around, dunking her head under the water and then popping up with wide eyes. At one point, she even grabbed her toy duck and set it afloat, proudly announcing it was her “swimming buddy.”

Her mother couldn’t stop laughing at how much fun Lyly was having. Every few minutes, Lyly would hop out, shake the water off like a little dog, then dive right back in with even more enthusiasm. It was as if the rooftop had turned into her private water park.

As the sun began to set, Lyly finally slowed down, lying back in the pool with a satisfied sigh. “Best. Day. Ever,” she murmured, splashing lazily. Her mother smiled, happy to see her little monkey so full of life and joy.

For Lyly, it wasn’t just about cooling off—it was about making a summer memory she would never forget.
