Cubis Monkey Runs Away From Dad’s Anger! What Will Happen?

Cubis is usually a playful little monkey, full of mischief and charm. But sometimes, his endless curiosity gets him into more trouble than he bargained for. One sunny afternoon, Dad discovered Cubis had knocked over a basket of laundry, scattering clean clothes across the floor like confetti. To make things worse, Cubis had been swinging from the curtains, leaving them half pulled down.

When Dad walked in, his eyes grew wide, and his voice boomed, “Cubis!” The little monkey froze. He knew that tone—it wasn’t the playful Dad who usually laughed at his tricks. This time, Dad was truly upset.

With a quick squeak, Cubis darted away before Dad could say another word. He scurried out of the room, his little feet pattering across the floor, heart pounding fast. “I better hide until Dad cools down,” he thought.

He slipped behind a chair, then under the table, but Dad’s footsteps were never far behind. Every time he peeked out, Dad’s serious face sent him running again. Soon, Cubis made his way outside to the garden, climbing up the nearest tree, his little tail twitching nervously. From his safe perch, he looked down, wondering what would happen next.

But instead of staying angry, Dad stood at the base of the tree, sighing. “Cubis, you can’t keep running away every time I get upset. I’m not going to hurt you—I just need you to listen.”

The gentle tone softened Cubis’s heart. Slowly, carefully, he climbed down, his big eyes full of guilt. Dad reached out, scooping him up. “You made a mess, but I still love you. We’ll clean it up together.”

Relieved, Cubis snuggled into Dad’s chest, realizing he didn’t need to be afraid. Mistakes happen, but love always finds a way to forgive.

And so, Cubis learned that running away from anger never solves the problem—sometimes, facing it brings you closer than ever.
