24 Hours Alone! Cubis the Baby Monkey Stuck in the House

Little Cubis, the playful baby monkey, was used to having his mom and family around him all the time. But one unusual day, something unexpected happened—he found himself completely alone in the house for a whole 24 hours! At first, Cubis didn’t understand. He looked around every corner, peeked under the furniture, and even called out with tiny squeaks, hoping someone would answer. But no one came.

At first, he felt scared. The silence was so different from the usual sounds of chatter, footsteps, and laughter. Clinging to his favorite blanket, Cubis sat by the window with wide eyes, waiting for someone to return. But soon, his natural curiosity got the better of him. If he was going to be alone, why not explore?

He climbed onto the table, peeked into the fruit bowl, and discovered a ripe banana—his favorite treat! Delighted, he peeled it clumsily, half of it squishing between his tiny fingers, but that didn’t matter. With a full tummy, he began to feel braver.

The hours passed slowly, but Cubis found little adventures everywhere. He pulled open cabinets, played with shiny pots, and even snuggled into Mom’s sweater that smelled just like her. Still, every now and then, his little eyes filled with tears. He missed the warmth of being held, the comfort of gentle voices, and the feeling of not being alone.

When night fell, Cubis curled up in a soft blanket, hugging his stuffed toy tightly. The house was dark and quiet, but somehow he managed to fall asleep, dreaming of being reunited with his family.

Finally, after what felt like forever, the door opened the next day. Cubis’s ears perked up and his heart leapt. He ran as fast as his little legs could carry him, jumping straight into Mom’s arms. She kissed his furry head, whispering comfort as he clung to her.

For Cubis, those 24 hours alone felt like the longest day of his life—but they also reminded him just how precious family is. From that day on, he never wanted to let go of Mom’s hand again.
