Monkey Lyly Hurried into the Bathroom Because She Was Itchy When She Came Home from Playing

It was a sunny afternoon, and Monkey Lyly had been playing outside all day. She raced through the garden, climbed trees, and rolled around in the grass, having the best time of her life. But as the sun began to set, her mother called her inside for dinner.

“Lyly! Come in, it’s time to eat!” her mother’s voice rang out from the kitchen.

Lyly skipped toward the house, her fur covered in leaves and specks of dirt. As she entered the door, she suddenly felt a prickling sensation on her back. Then, another one on her arm. And another on her leg!

“Ah! So itchy!” Lyly scratched furiously, twisting and turning to reach all the itchy spots. She looked like a spinning top as she squirmed around trying to relieve herself from the discomfort.

Her mother glanced at her with concern. “Lyly, what’s wrong?”

“I’m so itchy, Mom! I think something bit me when I was playing,” Lyly cried as she scratched behind her ears and along her back.

“Quick! Get to the bathroom and wash up. You must have rolled into something you shouldn’t have,” her mother urged.

Without wasting a second, Lyly dashed into the bathroom and turned on the water. She splashed and scrubbed herself all over, determined to wash away whatever was causing her skin to itch. As the warm water soothed her skin, she sighed with relief. The itchiness began to fade away, and Lyly’s frantic movements gradually slowed down.

After a thorough rinse, she emerged from the bathroom looking like a drenched, fluffy ball. But at least the itching had stopped!

Her mother chuckled. “Lyly, from now on, make sure you don’t roll around in strange places. And always wash up after playing outside.”

Lyly nodded with a sheepish smile. “I will, Mom. Lesson learned!”

She dried off and joined her mother for dinner, feeling fresh, clean, and itch-free.
