Some days are ordinary, and then there are days when you’re reminded just how lucky you are to have such a supportive, loving community around you. Today was one of those days for us.
It started off with a cozy morning on the couch—just me and CiCi enjoying some quiet time. Well, “quiet” might be a stretch, because the moment I tried reading something out loud in her “language,” I apparently butchered it so badly that CiCi decided I deserved a playful smack. Her paw landed right on my arm as if to say, “Excuse me, that’s not how it’s done!” We both knew it was all in good fun, and the look she gave me afterward made me laugh even harder.
Moments like this—silly, warm, and completely unscripted—are what make life with CiCi so special. And it’s not just about the two of us. It’s about you. Every single one of you who watches, comments, laughs with us, and shares in our little adventures has become part of this family. Whether it’s cheering CiCi on in her goofy antics or sending sweet messages when she’s not feeling her best, your kindness doesn’t go unnoticed.
We’ve shared so many moments together—rescues, transformations, happy updates, and the occasional chaos when CiCi decides she’s in charge. Through all of it, your encouragement has been like fuel, motivating us to keep sharing and spreading smiles.
CiCi might not understand every word I say (especially when I “speak her language” poorly), but I know she feels the love. She senses it in the way we read your messages out loud, in the joy that fills the room when we know someone’s day got brighter because of her.
