Had to jump on this šŸ˜‚

It all started when I saw the video. Someone in the family group chat had posted a short clip of a dog wearing sunglasses and a tiny Hawaiian shirt, lounging in a kiddie pool like it was the most natural thing in the world. My first reaction? A burst of laughter. My second? ā€œI have to try this.ā€

The victim—well, the star—of my plan would be none other than Cici. She’s usually up for anything, but I knew getting her into sunglasses might take some convincing. Step one was the outfit: a brightly patterned shirt I found online, covered in little palm trees and pineapples. Step two, the accessories—a plastic pair of dog-safe sunglasses I picked up at the pet store. Step three, the inflatable pool.

When the big day came, I filled the pool with just enough cool water to make it inviting, then called Cici over. She trotted up, curious, tail wagging. The shirt went on without much fuss. The sunglasses? Well… she gave me the look—the one that says, ā€œWhat are you doing, human?ā€ But with a treat bribe, she let me slip them on.

The moment she stepped into the pool, it was like she transformed. She lowered herself into the water, tilted her head back, and actually looked like she was posing. I grabbed my phone and started snapping pictures like a paparazzi.

When I posted the photo online, the reactions were immediate—cry-laugh emojis, heart eyes, and comments like, ā€œThis belongs on a postcard!ā€ and ā€œI can’t stop laughing!ā€ It blew up faster than I expected.

And honestly? Cici seemed to enjoy the attention. She stayed in that pool for a good twenty minutes, occasionally lifting her paw to splash water, sunglasses still on like a true diva.

I didn’t just ā€œjump on thisā€ trend—I dove in headfirst. And now I’m convinced Cici’s ready for her modeling career. šŸ˜‚
