What’s happening to Lyly? Monkey Lyly was excited to play in the rain and the ending…

Monkey Lyly woke up to the sound of raindrops tapping against the window. Her eyes lit up instantly. Rain meant puddles, splashes, and all sorts of fun. Without a moment’s hesitation, she bounded over to her little coat and tugged it on—though the hood kept sliding off her head.

Her mother, amused but cautious, reminded her, “Lyly, don’t stay out too long—you’ll catch a chill!” But Lyly was already halfway to the door, tail swinging happily.

The moment she stepped outside, the cool droplets kissed her fur. She squealed with delight, hopping from one puddle to another, watching the ripples dance. Soon, she was twirling in the open yard, letting the rain soak her completely. Her tiny feet splashed through the mud, and she even tilted her head back to feel the water trickle down her cheeks.

Birds took shelter under the branches, but Lyly didn’t care. This was her stage, and the rain was the music. She played, chased raindrops, and even tried to catch them with her hands—laughing every time they slipped through her fingers.

But after a while, the rain began to grow heavier, and the puddles turned into little streams flowing along the ground. Lyly noticed the water rising near the edge of the garden. She bent down to touch it, and suddenly—a big splash! A rolling wave from a passing car sent a spray right over her.

She gasped, blinking at her drenched fur. For a second, she stood frozen. Then, slowly, a giggle escaped her, turning into a full laugh. It was messy, unexpected, and completely wonderful.

When her mother called her in, Lyly trotted back, dripping water all over the floor. Wrapped in a warm towel, she cuddled up with a cup of warm milk. Her fur fluffed back up, and she sighed happily.

The ending? Lyly fell asleep by the window, still smiling, with rain
