It was a quiet afternoon in the house, the kind where sunlight streams in through the windows and everyone is enjoying their nap. But not for long—something unusual was about to happen. Lala, the clever little monkey, was wandering around the kitchen when she heard a strange sound: a faint meow coming from somewhere nearby. She paused, ears twitching. Lala followed the sound, tiptoeing carefully around the kitchen, listening closely. She stopped in front of the cupboard and tilted her head. That’s when she realized—Siba, the curious little cat, was stuck inside! Earlier, Siba had sneaked in while the door was open and accidentally got shut in when no one noticed.
Lala wasted no time. She tapped the cupboard door with her little hands and chirped loudly to alert Mom. But when no one came, she took matters into her own hands. She stood up on her tiptoes, reached for the handle, and pulled with all her might. It didn’t open right away, but Lala didn’t give up. With a determined squeak and a second pull, the cupboard door finally creaked open!
Out popped Siba, wide-eyed but unharmed, leaping into Lala’s arms with a thankful purr. Lala hugged her tight and gave her a reassuring pat on the head. It was a moment of pure love and bravery.
When Mom came into the kitchen and saw what had happened, she couldn’t believe her eyes. “Lala, you saved Siba!” she exclaimed, scooping both of them up in a warm hug. “You are so smart and kind!”
From that day on, Lala earned a new nickname in the house—Hero Lala. And Siba never wandered into the cupboard again without Lala nearby to keep an eye on her. Their bond only grew stronger, and everyone knew that with Lala around, the house was just a little bit safer—and a whole lot sweeter.
