Monkey Lyly deliberately bathed in the sink, making her mother unable to stop laughing

Monkey Lyly has always been full of surprises, but today she took her silliness to a whole new level. As the sun peeked through the window and the house settled into its usual morning calm, Lyly decided it was bath time—her way.

While her mother was in the kitchen prepping breakfast, she heard a splash and hurried trickling sounds coming from the bathroom. Worried, she rushed in only to find little Lyly sitting proudly in the sink, her tiny hands splashing the water like she was at a five-star spa. The water was lukewarm from the faucet she had somehow managed to turn on, and Lyly was soaked from head to toe, her fluffy fur dripping like a soaked sponge.

At first, her mother stood frozen, blinking in disbelief. But once the image settled in—Lyly sitting with a bar of soap in her lap and bubbles floating around—she burst out laughing. She couldn’t help herself. The scene was too ridiculous, too adorable to scold. Lyly, noticing her mother’s reaction, giggled and threw her arms in the air, sending suds flying across the room.

It wasn’t just a random moment—it was a full-on performance. Lyly even rubbed her little arms like she’d seen her mother do during real bath time. It was clear she was copying her, but in the most exaggerated and dramatic way possible.

Cleaning up afterward took some time. Towels, water on the floor, a soaking wet monkey—but it was worth every second for the laughter and joy Lyly had brought. Her mother made sure to snap a few pictures, knowing this would be one of those memories they’d laugh about for years to come.

“Next time,” she said with a grin, drying Lyly off, “let me at least run the bath for you.”

Lyly just smiled mischievously. She had no regrets.
