It was an ordinary morning when Mom noticed something wasn’t right with little Lala. Her eyes looked unusually red and watery, and she kept blinking and rubbing them with her tiny hands. At first, Mom thought maybe something had gotten into her eyes—dust or an eyelash—but Lala’s discomfort didn’t go away. In fact, it seemed to be getting worse by the hour.
rawn. She kept her eyes half-closed, and even the morning sunlight seemed to bother her. That’s when Mom knew this wasn’t something she could ignore. Without wasting another minute, she gently picked Lala up, wrapped her in a soft blanket, and headed straight to the animal hospital.
The ride to the hospital was quiet. Lala rested in Mom’s arms, trusting her completely. Mom whispered comforting words and gave her soft kisses on the head, reassuring her that everything would be okay. When they arrived, the vet staff took them in right away.
After a thorough checkup, the veterinarian confirmed that Lala had a serious eye infection that required immediate treatment. One of her tear ducts was blocked, and the infection was causing a lot of discomfort. The vet gently cleaned Lala’s eyes and prescribed special medicated drops to help reduce the inflammation and fight the infection.
Though she flinched a little, Lala was brave during the entire process. Mom stayed by her side, holding her gently and telling her how proud she was. After the visit, they returned home with instructions and a treatment plan. Mom was determined to follow everything carefully to help her little girl heal.
That night, Lala curled up next to Mom, finally resting peacefully. Her eyes still hurt, but the worst was over. With Mom’s love and care, she knew she would feel better soon. And Mom? She kept a close watch, determined not to let anything happen to her precious baby ever again.
