You guys… Chooch is over the moon right now!
Today after work, I made a little detour to check our P.O. Box, thinking, “Hey, maybe someone sent something sweet for Chooch.” Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much—but wow, you all showed up! I got home, walked through the door, and before I could even say anything, Chooch was already jumping up, tail wagging like a propeller, nose sniffing every corner of the bag in my hand.
I barely had a chance to open the package before Chooch spotted what was inside—a treat pouch and a brand new squeaky toy that he somehow knew instantly was his. His eyes lit up, and next thing I knew, he was standing on two legs like a kid on Christmas morning, snatching the note right from my hand (as seen in this blurry, chaotic photo!). Let’s just say… the excitement was real.
And no, he didn’t wait. That toy was in his mouth within seconds, and the squeaking hasn’t stopped since. He brought it to the couch, to the kitchen, even followed me to the bathroom with it. If it squeaks, it speaks—according to Chooch.
But the sweetest moment? He sat down, looked at me with those big, soulful eyes, and rested his paw on my knee like he knew someone out there had sent love just for him. It’s amazing how dogs understand kindness, even when it’s from people they’ve never met.
So from the bottom of both our hearts—THANK YOU SM!! Whether it’s a small treat, a handwritten card, or just the thought, it means everything to us. You’ve made Chooch’s whole week (and probably the month too, let’s be honest).
And yes, if you listen closely… that squeaking in the background? That’s Chooch still saying thanks. Loudly. Over and over again. 🐶❤️
