CUBIS Says Goodbye as CUTIS Returns to the City!

It was a bittersweet morning in the quiet countryside. The sun rose gently over the trees, casting golden light on the small home where Cubis and Cutis had spent the past few unforgettable days together. They had played, laughed, shared snacks, and made memories that would last a lifetime. But now, it was time for Cutis to return to the busy city—and Cubis wasn’t ready to let go.

Cutis had packed her small bag, her little face filled with mixed emotions. She gave one last glance around the peaceful yard, where just yesterday the two had chased butterflies and laid in the grass watching clouds drift by. Cubis followed her quietly, his usual excitement replaced with a quiet sadness. He held her hand tightly, not wanting to say goodbye.

“Do you really have to go?” Cubis asked softly, his eyes brimming with tears.

Cutis nodded, her voice trembling. “I’ll miss you so much, Cubis. But I’ll come back. I promise.”

At the bus stop, the moment grew heavier. Cubis hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go. The driver called out, and with one last wave, Cutis stepped onto the bus, pressing her little face to the window as it slowly pulled away. Cubis stood there for a long while, waving until the bus was nothing more than a blur in the distance.

Back home, the yard felt quieter. The games weren’t as fun without Cutis. But Cubis held on to the joy they shared and the promise she made. He looked up at the sky and whispered, “I’ll wait for you.”

Though she was gone for now, the bond between them remained strong. No matter how far the city was, Cutis would always carry a piece of the countryside—and Cubis—in her heart. And when she returned, their laughter would once again echo across the fields. Until then, Cubis would be waiting, holding on to the memories, and counting the days.
