It was supposed to be a peaceful night—just another cozy evening where Monkey Lyly curls up beside her mother, like always. But tonight, something was very different. As bedtime rolled around and her mother patted the soft mat, calling her over, Lyly hesitated. She looked around nervously, scratched her head, and even tried to sneak off toward the corner of the room. That’s when we realized—something was definitely going on.
At first, we thought maybe Lyly had a tummy ache or that she was feeling too warm. But nope! The real reason? It turns out… Mama was SNORING! And not just soft snores—no, this was full-on jungle thunder!
Lyly tried everything. She covered her ears with her tiny hands, flipped over again and again, and even tried to tuck herself under the blanket. But the snores kept coming—loud, rumbling, and unpredictable! Each time Lyly started to drift off, RRRRKKKKKKKK!, Mama’s snore would roar again, making Lyly sit up with wide eyes and a pouty face.
She walked in circles, climbed up and down the pillow, and even tried nudging her mama gently—maybe hoping she could roll her over and stop the noise. But Mama, exhausted from a long day, didn’t stir. She was in deep sleep mode.
Eventually, Lyly made a dramatic decision. She dragged her favorite plushie, tiptoed over to the other side of the room, and built her own little nest out of blankets and socks. It wasn’t perfect, but at least it was quiet. She curled up there with a big sigh, her back turned to the snoring symphony behind her.
Still, even though Lyly struggled to sleep beside Mama tonight, she never stopped loving her. And by morning? She was right back by her mother’s side, snuggled close as if nothing had happened.
Unbelievable? Maybe. But in Lyly’s world, even the loudest snores can’t drown out love. 🐒💤❤️
