Cubis Monkey Is Excited to Go Camping with Dad

The sun had barely risen when Cubis Monkey bounced out of bed, his little backpack already packed and ready by the door. Today was the day—he was going camping with Dad! His eyes sparkled with excitement, and he could hardly stay still as he waited for Dad to zip up his own bag and grab the tent.

“Ready, buddy?” Dad asked with a grin.

“Let’s go!” Cubis shouted, hopping into the car with pure joy.

The drive to the campsite was filled with laughter and singing. Cubis couldn’t stop asking questions. “Will we see deer? Can we roast marshmallows? Do I get to sleep in a real tent?” Dad chuckled and nodded to each one. This wasn’t just a trip—it was an adventure, and Cubis was ready for it all.

Once they arrived, Cubis helped Dad set up the tent. He proudly held the poles and even hammered in a few stakes with a tiny mallet. “I’m a real camper now!” he declared. Dad gave him a thumbs-up and handed him a little flashlight as a surprise. Cubis was thrilled.

They explored the forest trails, spotted squirrels, and even found a little stream where Cubis dipped his feet and giggled at the cold water. As the sun began to set, Dad lit a campfire, and they roasted marshmallows together. Cubis’s eyes widened as the flames danced and crackled. “This is the best day ever,” he said with sticky fingers and a big smile.

Later, they lay inside the tent under cozy blankets. Cubis held his flashlight like a treasure while Dad told him stories about the stars. Outside, the crickets sang, and the wind gently rustled the leaves.

As Cubis drifted off to sleep, his heart was full. Camping with Dad wasn’t just fun—it was special. It was about bonding, exploring, and making memories that would stay with him forever. And as the night settled in, one thing was clear—Cubis Monkey couldn’t wait to go camping with Dad again.
