BiBi Loses Patience While Mom Prepares LaLa’s Dinner

BiBi is usually a calm and gentle soul, but tonight was a different story. The sun had barely dipped behind the trees, and dinner time was quickly approaching. As soon as she saw Mom bring out the bowls and ingredients, BiBi’s ears perked up. But when she realized that tonight’s dinner prep was all about LaLa, her patience started to unravel.

Mom was humming softly while slicing vegetables, carefully preparing a special meal just for LaLa. LaLa had been feeling a bit under the weather lately, so Mom wanted to make something extra nutritious for her. BiBi, however, didn’t understand the delay — all she knew was that her stomach was rumbling and her food wasn’t coming fast enough!

She tried waiting. She really did. She sat by the kitchen door, gave Mom her best puppy eyes, even tapped her little paw on the floor gently. Nothing worked. LaLa’s bowl was getting fancier by the minute, and BiBi was still empty-pawed.

Finally, with a dramatic sigh, BiBi stood up and marched toward the counter, letting out a long, frustrated meow. When that didn’t get results, she climbed onto the stool and let out a series of impatient chirps and soft growls. It was clear: BiBi was done waiting.

Mom turned and giggled at her. “BiBi, sweet girl, you’ll get your dinner too! Just a little more time, okay?”

LaLa peeked out from her cozy corner, still tired but smiling at BiBi’s antics. She gave a soft purr as if to say, “Hang in there, sis. Mom’s almost done.”

At last, Mom placed LaLa’s bowl down and turned back to prepare BiBi’s meal. As soon as her food hit the dish, BiBi leapt down and trotted over, tail high in the air — all signs of her grumpiness gone.

Dinner was served. Patience may not be BiBi’s strength, but at least her determination made sure she wouldn’t be forgotten!
