LaLa Ignores Her Food and Only Wants What BiBi Is Eating

LaLa sat in front of her food bowl, sniffed it once, then glanced over at BiBi. The warm rice and shredded chicken in her own bowl would make any little monkey happy, but not LaLa—not today. Her eyes locked onto BiBi’s bowl across the room, and she began to shuffle closer with that determined, pouty face she wore whenever she didn’t get her way.

BiBi, sitting quietly in his corner, was enjoying his meal of mashed sweet potatoes and bananas, completely unaware that he was being watched like a hawk. As LaLa got closer, she made little whining noises, trying to get his attention, or maybe just hoping someone would notice and switch their food. When that didn’t work, she plopped down next to him, her hand slowly inching toward his bowl.

Despite being fed the same nutritious meals, LaLa always believed BiBi’s food was somehow tastier. Maybe it was the way he chewed so happily, or maybe it was just her mischievous little heart wanting what she didn’t have. She gave her own food another sniff, frowned dramatically, then looked up with pleading eyes at the caregiver filming nearby.

“Look at her!” the caregiver laughed. “LaLa, you have the same thing! Eat your own food.”

LaLa ignored the comment and tried to sneak a bite from BiBi’s bowl. This time, BiBi noticed. He chirped in protest and pulled his bowl closer, giving her a confused look. LaLa huffed, crossed her arms, and turned away, but not before tossing one last jealous glance at his bowl.

In the end, the caregiver had to scoop a little of BiBi’s food into LaLa’s bowl to make her eat. The moment it was mixed in, she started gobbling it up like it was a brand-new dish.

LaLa’s antics never fail to bring a smile. No matter how much she’s given, she always wants whatever BiBi has. Typical little sister behavior—but we love her for it.
