It was a sunny morning when BiBi woke up to an unexpected excitement in the air. Dad had a mysterious smile on his face as he gently stroked BiBi’s fur and whispered, “Get ready, little one. We’re going to see someone very special today.” BiBi tilted his head curiously, his big eyes searching for clues. He hadn’t seen Mommy in what felt like forever.
Bundled into his favorite cozy blanket, BiBi was placed into the travel crate. He didn’t fuss, but his tail twitched with both nervousness and curiosity. The car ride was long and filled with unfamiliar scents and sounds, but Dad kept talking to him gently, reassuring him with every mile.
When they finally arrived, the door to a quiet home opened — and there she was. Mommy! BiBi froze for a moment, stunned. His tiny heart skipped a beat. Mommy knelt down and opened her arms wide, calling his name softly. BiBi didn’t hesitate another second. He leapt out and dashed straight to her, rubbing against her and letting out the tiniest, most joyful mews.
Mommy’s eyes sparkled with tears as she scooped him up, holding him close to her chest. “Oh, my sweet BiBi, I’ve missed you so much,” she whispered. BiBi purred louder than he ever had, burying his face into her neck as if to make sure she was really there.
They spent the whole afternoon together. Mommy gave BiBi his favorite treats, brushed his fur gently, and they sat together in the sun by the window just like old times. BiBi looked at her with such love — as if to say, “Where have you been?”
As the day came to an end, BiBi didn’t want to leave. But this visit was a promise — that love never fades with time or distance. And BiBi knew, in his little heart, that this wouldn’t be the last time he’d be in Mommy’s arms again.
