Today was a big adventure for little Bibi! Bright and early, she hopped onto the back of Uncle Phong’s old motorbike, heading to the countryside. The sun was just rising, casting a golden glow across the fields, and Bibi couldn’t stop wagging her tail with excitement. They were on their way to help harvest pumpkins for cooking—and Bibi was ready to work!
When they arrived at the farm, Uncle Phong handed Bibi a tiny straw hat to shield her from the sun. She looked absolutely adorable as she trotted behind him into the pumpkin patch. The field was full of bright orange pumpkins, big and small, just waiting to be picked. Uncle Phong showed Bibi how to gently inspect the pumpkins, making sure they were ripe and ready. Bibi watched closely, sniffing each one with curiosity.
Though she couldn’t pick them up herself, Bibi helped in her own special way—by barking happily whenever Uncle Phong found a perfect one! She even tried rolling one with her nose, though it didn’t go far. Still, she stayed by his side, wagging her tail proudly as the wheelbarrow filled with the beautiful harvest.
After a long morning of picking, it was time to cook. Back at the farmhouse, Uncle Phong began preparing a hearty pumpkin stew, while Bibi sat patiently on the porch, occasionally peeking into the kitchen with her big, eager eyes. The aroma of roasted pumpkin, herbs, and spices filled the air, making Bibi’s nose twitch with delight.
Finally, Uncle Phong set out a small bowl just for Bibi—her own little portion of the pumpkin dish, cooled and seasoned just right for her. She licked the bowl clean in no time!
It was a day full of joy, hard work, and delicious food. Bibi may be small, but she proved she could be a great farm helper. As the sun set over the fields, she curled up next to Uncle Phong, tired but happy. Pumpkin season had never been this fun!
