It’s that time again—Pizza Crust Friday is here, and we’re back at it! The tradition that started as a simple moment between Chooch and a slice of pizza has now become something so much bigger and more heartwarming than we ever imagined. Week after week, so many of you show up to celebrate in the best way possible—by sharing a crust with your furry best friend.
There’s just something so magical about seeing those videos roll in every Friday. Whether it’s a wagging tail, a happy bark, a gentle paw reaching for that crispy edge, or the soft crunch of a pup enjoying their special treat—it fills my heart every single time. Your dogs may not know they’re part of a growing tradition, but their joy is exactly what Pizza Crust Friday is all about.
This tradition began with Chooch—my sweet baby, my heart, my best friend. Every Friday, he’d wait patiently (okay, sometimes not so patiently!) for his little end-of-slice reward. It became our thing. And when I started sharing it with all of you, I never expected so many would join in, or that it would become such a beloved ritual for so many pets and their humans.
Some of your dogs now know when it’s Friday. They wait by the kitchen. They stare at the box. They do their happy dances. And to all of you who film it, comment, or even just smile watching—it means everything. Whether your dog is tiny like a chihuahua or giant like a Great Dane, they all have one thing in common: they love Pizza Crust Friday just as much as we do.
