A stray kitten, stuck to a glue board, was dumped away like trash, cried helplessly—until…

It’s heartbreaking what some people are capable of. On a quiet morning walk near the edge of an alley, I heard a weak, scratchy cry. At first, I thought it was just a bird or maybe an injured animal hiding. But as I followed the sound, my stomach dropped. There, in a discarded cardboard box beside a dumpster, was a tiny kitten—completely stuck to a glue board.

His fur was matted with sticky residue, his legs unable to move, his eyes wide in pain and confusion. Someone had thrown him away like trash, still alive, helplessly glued to a trap meant for pests. It was cruel beyond words.

He meowed so softly, exhausted from struggling. I couldn’t just walk away. Gently, I lifted the entire board and took him home. It took over an hour of patience, warm water, and cooking oil to slowly release him without tearing his delicate skin. He never hissed or scratched. He just looked up at me with those trusting eyes, as if he knew I was trying to help.

Once free, I gave him a warm bath and wrapped him in a soft towel. He was so small, no more than five weeks old, and terribly underweight. I kept him close, fed him every few hours, and made sure he was warm and safe.

Within a couple of days, his energy started to return. He began purring, playing, and even trying to follow me around. I named him Sticky—half in jest, half as a reminder of what he overcame.

Today, Sticky is a joyful, healthy kitten who loves cuddles and zooms around the house with pure excitement. What someone threw away like garbage, we now cherish as family. His survival is a powerful reminder that even the smallest life deserves love, care, and a second chance.
