Lala Mischievously Sneaks Fruit to Eat and Worries That Thuy Will Punish Her!

Little Lala was feeling extra curious—and a little hungry. As she wandered through the kitchen, the sweet smell of fresh fruit filled the air. There, sitting on the counter, was a colorful bowl full of juicy mango slices, grapes, and banana pieces. Thuy had just prepared it for later, but Lala’s eyes sparkled with temptation.

She glanced around. No footsteps. No voices. The coast was clear.

With a cheeky little grin, Lala tiptoed over to the counter. Standing on her toes, she carefully reached up and grabbed a plump grape. Pop! It disappeared into her mouth. So sweet! So delicious! Lala giggled silently, then quickly grabbed a piece of mango, then another.

But just as she reached for a banana slice—thump thump thump!—footsteps!

Lala’s eyes widened in panic. It was Thuy!

She quickly wiped her hands and scurried into the corner, pretending to play with her toy. Her heart raced as Thuy entered the kitchen.

“Hmm… I thought I had more mango here,” Thuy said, raising an eyebrow. She glanced around suspiciously.

Lala avoided eye contact, her little tail twitching nervously. Guilt was all over her face, though she tried to act innocent. Oh no… is she going to find out? Will I get in trouble?

Thuy walked closer, crouching beside Lala. “Sweetie… did you sneak some fruit?”

Lala looked up with big round eyes, then slowly nodded.

To her surprise, Thuy didn’t yell. Instead, she sighed and chuckled softly. “You silly girl,” she said, scooping Lala into her arms. “Next time, just ask, okay?”

Relieved, Lala hugged her tight, promising to be better next time. Deep down, though, she knew she’d always have that mischievous side. And Thuy? She knew it too—but couldn’t help but smile at her little rascal.
