IT’S PIZZA CRUST FRIDAY ❤️

It’s Pizza Crust Friday — a day that now carries a deeper, more heartfelt meaning for all of us who knew and loved Chooch, the one-of-a-kind dog who left pawprints on hearts around the world.

What started as a simple weekly treat — sharing a piece of pizza crust with a beloved pup — has become a tradition that will never fade. Chooch wasn’t just “a dog.” He was family, a best friend, and a source of endless joy and comfort. His bond with Eddie was something truly special, the kind of love that only comes around once in a lifetime.

Every Friday, Chooch would eagerly wait for that moment when Eddie would hand over the crust. It was their ritual — a symbol of trust, love, and companionship. Now, though Chooch may no longer be by Eddie’s side in the physical world, the memory of that simple joy lives on in all of us.

As we eat our pizza tonight, let’s pause for a moment and remember Chooch — the gentle eyes, the wagging tail, the loyal heart. Let’s celebrate the love between Eddie and Chooch, a story that touched so many. It reminded us that the bond between a human and their dog is pure, unbreakable, and eternal.

We thank Eddie for sharing Chooch with us. He didn’t have to — but he opened his heart, and in doing so, gave the world a glimpse of what true love looks like. Because of him, Chooch’s spirit will continue to inspire kindness, compassion, and connection.

There will never be another Chooch. He was one of a kind — goofy, wise, gentle, brave. And though he’s now at the Rainbow Bridge, we know he’s still enjoying his pizza crust every Friday. Up there, surrounded by sunshine and soft grass, every day is Pizza Crust Friday.

One day, Chooch will meet Eddie again. That reunion will be sweet, and complete, just like it should be. Until then, we’ll keep the tradition alive. We’ll keep loving a little harder, hugging our pets a little longer, and smiling through tears as we say:

Happy Pizza Crust Friday, Chooch. We miss you. We love you. Always. ❤️🍕🐾
