It was a warm, sunny afternoon when Poki and Pupu, the two adventurous siblings, wandered down to the nearby stream. The sound of bubbling water and the gentle rustle of leaves set the perfect scene for one of their curious little journeys. They had been to this stream many times before, but today something felt different.
As they crouched near the edge of the water, Poki’s eyes widened. “Pupu, look!” he whispered excitedly, pointing to the water. There, swimming just beneath the surface, were fish unlike any they had ever seen. Their scales shimmered in shades of purple and green, and some even had strange spots and long, flowing fins that looked like dancing ribbons.
Pupu leaned in, her little nose twitching with curiosity. “What kind of fish are those?” she asked. “They don’t look like the ones we usually see here.”
Poki reached for a stick and gently dipped it into the water, watching the fish swim around it gracefully. “Maybe they’re magical fish,” he said with a grin. “Or maybe they came from a faraway place!”
The two sat in silence for a moment, mesmerized by the beautiful creatures. Poki imagined them as underwater guardians protecting a hidden treasure, while Pupu thought they might be visitors from the ocean, lost and exploring new waters.
Their imaginations ran wild, but soon they realized something important—they needed to find out what these fish really were. Poki suggested they ask Grandpa, who knew everything about the forest and the stream.
With one last look at the mysterious fish, Poki and Pupu turned and ran back home, their minds buzzing with wonder. Even though they didn’t have all the answers yet, discovering something new and strange had brought a spark of excitement to their day.
One thing was certain—this was just the beginning of another magical adventure for Poki and Pupu.
