Lala secretly took Thuy’s fruit platter prepared for guests to enjoy!

It was a bright and busy afternoon in Thuy’s house. She was preparing a special platter of fruits for her guests—juicy mango slices, watermelon cut into hearts, grapes on little sticks, and even a pineapple carved like a flower. It was her masterpiece, and she placed it proudly on the dining table, covered lightly with a cloth to keep it fresh.

Meanwhile, in the corner of the room, Lala the curious cat was watching with wide eyes and a twitching tail.

Lala wasn’t just any cat—she was clever, sneaky, and had a deep love for anything sweet and colorful. The moment Thuy left the room to check on her other dishes, Lala made her move.

Silently, she leaped onto the table, gently lifting the cloth with her paw. Her eyes sparkled at the rainbow of fruits. Without a second thought, she pawed a grape off the stick and nibbled it. One grape turned into two, then three. Soon, she had taken a bite from the watermelon heart, licked the mango slices, and even knocked over a strawberry.

She was in fruity heaven.

Just then, footsteps echoed down the hallway. Thuy was returning!

Lala panicked. She quickly tried to hide under the table, but her tail knocked over a grape stick, sending it clattering to the floor.

Thuy entered, froze, and gasped. “Lala!” she shouted.

There stood the guilty cat, fruit juice on her whiskers and a bitten mango slice stuck to her paw.

“Lala secretly took my fruit platter!” Thuy cried. The once-beautiful arrangement was now a mess of chewed fruit and paw prints.

But instead of scolding her, Thuy sighed and shook her head. “You little rascal,” she said, picking up Lala and giving her a gentle pat. “You owe me a new platter.”

From that day forward, the fruit platter stayed high on a shelf—and Lala got her own tiny bowl of cat-safe fruits. A fair trade, according to her.
