Lala the little bunny loved to swim. Every weekend, she’d hop excitedly to the lake with her friends. But one day, something felt different. After splashing and paddling for a long time, she came home feeling a little strange. That night, something unexpected happened—Lala peed the bed.
When she woke up the next morning and saw the wet spot, her ears drooped. “Oh no,” she whispered. “What happened?” She had never peed the bed before, and now she was worried. “Maybe I drank too much lake water,” she thought. “Or maybe I swam too long.” Her heart felt heavy with embarrassment.
Lala didn’t want anyone to know. She quietly changed her sheets and tried to forget about it. But the next night, it happened again. Now she was really scared. “Am I sick?” she wondered. “Will my friends find out and laugh at me?”
Finally, Lala decided to talk to someone she trusted. She went to her mom and softly said, “Mom, I think something’s wrong. I’ve been peeing the bed since swimming, and I don’t know why.”
Her mom hugged her gently. “Thank you for telling me, sweetie. I know that must feel scary. But don’t worry—you’re not alone. Lots of little ones go through this, especially after their bodies get tired or if something feels off inside.”
They visited the doctor, who kindly explained that sometimes swimming for too long or not taking enough bathroom breaks can upset the bladder. “It’s nothing to be ashamed of,” the doctor said. “Your body is just adjusting. With a little care and rest, you’ll be just fine.”
Lala felt a wave of relief wash over her. She started drinking more water during the day and took extra bathroom breaks before bed. And soon, the accidents stopped.
She learned that it’s okay to ask for help and that even embarrassing problems can be solved with love, understanding, and a little bit of courage.
