Lala Is Curious About Passion Fruit, So She Asks Thuy to Prepare It for Her to Enjoy!

One warm afternoon, Lala the little monkey was resting on a branch, enjoying the breeze. As she looked around the jungle, she spotted something round and purple hanging from a nearby vine. It looked different from bananas, mangoes, or papayas she usually ate. Her eyes widened with curiosity.

“What’s that?” she wondered aloud.

Just then, her friend Thuy the toucan flew down beside her. “Hi Lala! What are you looking at?”

“I saw this strange purple fruit. It smells sweet but also a little sour,” Lala said, pointing. “Do you know what it is?”

Thuy nodded cheerfully. “That’s passion fruit! It’s delicious and super refreshing. Would you like me to prepare one for you to try?”

Lala clapped her hands excitedly. “Yes, please! I’ve never tasted it before!”

Thuy picked a ripe passion fruit with her beak and flew to a nearby rock where she carefully split it open with her claws. Lala peeked inside and was surprised. “It looks like jelly with seeds!” she said, wrinkling her nose.

Thuy laughed. “I know it looks strange, but trust me—it’s yummy! The seeds are crunchy, and the juice is tangy and sweet.”

Thuy scooped out the golden pulp into a coconut shell and handed it to Lala. Lala hesitated for a moment, then took a small bite.

Her eyes lit up. “Wow! It’s so juicy! It tastes like a mix of oranges and pineapples!”

“I told you!” Thuy smiled.

Lala kept eating until the shell was empty. “That was amazing! Thank you, Thuy! Can we find more and make a juice next time?”

“Of course,” Thuy chirped. “There are plenty more on the vines. Next time, we’ll even add honey and ice for a special treat.”

Lala hugged her friend. “I’m so glad I asked. Passion fruit is now one of my favorites!”

And from that day on, passion fruit became a regular part of their jungle snacks, always shared with a smile and a bit of curiosity.
