Lala is Comforted by Thuy and is Taken to the Supermarket to Buy Snacks and Go to the Park!

Lala sat curled up on the couch, hugging her stuffed bunny tightly. It had been a long day—nothing seemed to go right. She lost her favorite crayon, her tower of blocks had fallen, and she didn’t get the cookie she wanted after lunch. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she sniffled quietly.

Just then, Thuy walked into the room with a warm smile. “Hey, sweetheart,” she said gently, kneeling beside Lala. “What’s wrong?”

Lala pouted. “Everything is bad today.”

Thuy wiped away a tear and pulled her into a soft hug. “Bad days happen, but I’m here now. Let’s do something fun, okay?” she whispered.

Lala blinked up at her. “Like what?”

“How about… a trip to the supermarket to pick your favorite snacks? And after that, we can go to the park. Just you and me.”

Lala’s eyes lit up instantly. “Really?”

“Really,” Thuy said with a smile.

They got ready and headed out. At the supermarket, Lala helped push the cart. She carefully picked her favorite treats—cheese crackers, strawberry milk, and a small bag of gummy bears. Thuy added some apples and juice boxes, reminding her that a snack adventure should also have something healthy.

As they checked out, Lala held the bag proudly. “These are our park snacks!” she said.

At the park, they found a cozy spot under a big tree. Lala munched happily while watching the ducks swim by the pond. After snacks, she ran around in the grass, climbed the jungle gym, and slid down the slide, giggling all the while.

Thuy cheered her on from the bench and even joined her for a swing. The sky slowly turned golden as the sun began to set.

As they packed up to go home, Lala looked up and said, “Today turned out to be a good day.”

Thuy smiled and hugged her. “That’s the magic of love, little one.”

And hand in hand, they walked home—hearts full, snacks gone, and smiles wide.
