Monkey Kaka is usually full of energy and curiosity, always eager to explore new places with her father. But today was different. As they stood at the edge of the dense forest, Kaka clung tightly to her father’s arm, her tiny hands gripping his shirt. She wasn’t her usual playful self—something was making her hesitate.
Her father knelt beside her, gently stroking her back. “What’s wrong, Kaka? Don’t you want to go on an adventure?” he asked, his voice soft and reassuring.
Kaka looked at the towering trees, their branches swaying slightly in the breeze. The rustling leaves and distant calls of birds filled the air. It was a beautiful sight, but to Kaka, it felt unfamiliar and overwhelming. She had always been safe at home, surrounded by her family, but the forest was different—vast, unknown, and full of mysterious sounds.
She whimpered softly and shook her head. She remembered hearing stories of wild animals and strange creatures lurking in the shadows. What if something dangerous was waiting for them? What if she got lost? The thought of being alone in such a big place scared her.
Seeing her hesitation, her father smiled and held out his hand. “Don’t worry, Kaka. I’m right here with you. The forest is not as scary as it seems. There are so many wonderful things to see—beautiful trees, friendly animals, and delicious fruits. You’ll love it once you take the first step.”
Kaka hesitated for a moment, then slowly reached for his hand. With his reassuring grip, she took a deep breath and took a small step forward. As they walked deeper into the forest, her fear gradually faded. She started noticing the beauty around her—the bright flowers, the playful squirrels, and the gentle chirping of birds.
Before long, Kaka was no longer afraid. She let go of her father’s hand and started hopping around, her excitement returning. The forest wasn’t so scary after all—it was a place full of wonder, as long as she had her father by her side.
