Monkey Lyly Was Confused Because She Made the Floor Dirty After Her Mother Had Just Cleaned It

Monkey Lyly was always full of energy, hopping around the house, playing with everything she could get her little hands on. But sometimes, her playful nature led to unexpected trouble.

That morning, Lyly’s mother had just finished cleaning the floor. The tiles sparkled under the sunlight, smelling fresh and looking spotless. She sighed in satisfaction, knowing she had done a great job. But as soon as she put the mop away, Lyly came running in from outside, her tiny feet covered in mud.

Without realizing what she had done, Lyly happily skipped across the room, leaving a trail of dirty paw prints behind her. She playfully jumped on the furniture, shaking off bits of dirt as she went. The once-clean floor was now a mess.

When her mother turned around and saw the muddy footprints, her eyes widened. “Lyly!” she called out, her voice firm but gentle. Lyly froze mid-step, looking at her mother with wide, innocent eyes. She glanced at the floor, then back at her mother, confusion written all over her face.

Her mother pointed at the mess. “Do you see what you did?”

Lyly tilted her head, then slowly looked down. Her tiny hands touched one of the muddy prints, and realization dawned on her. She had ruined the clean floor! Her eyes darted back to her mother, unsure of what to do. Would she be in trouble?

Seeing Lyly’s guilty expression, her mother couldn’t stay upset for long. She let out a small sigh, then smiled. “It’s okay, but we need to clean it up together.”

Lyly, eager to fix her mistake, grabbed a small cloth and started wiping the floor clumsily. Her mother laughed at her efforts and helped her clean up properly.

Once the floor was spotless again, Lyly jumped into her mother’s arms, hugging her tightly. She had learned an important lesson—not just about keeping things clean, but also about responsibility and helping out.

And from that day on, whenever her mother cleaned the floor, Lyly made sure to wipe her feet before stepping inside—most of the time!
